"Kaletepe Inscription" Found During Surface Surveys Conducted on the Bozburun Peninsula

The "Kaletepe Inscription," discovered during surface surveys conducted on the Bozburun Peninsula under the leadership of Dr. Volkan DEMİRCİLER, a faculty member of our Archaeology Department, proved that the region was an active trade center during the Hellenistic Period. The publication of the inscription, completed with the contributions of Assoc. Prof. E. Deniz OĞUZ-KIRCA and Archaeology Department faculty member Dr. Tolga ÖZHAN, has been introduced to the world of science and culture.
