The archaeological excavations led by Associate Professor Derya Yalçıklı from the Department of Archaeology, under the auspices of the Balıkesir Kuvayi Milliye Museum and with the permission of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, have commenced for the year 2023 at the İnboğazı Andık Cave located within the borders of İnönü Village in Havran, Balıkesir Province. The excavation efforts, which include participation from intern students of the Archaeology and Art History departments, started on July 12, 2023.
