Faculty members, Assoc. Prof. Fırat Yaşa and Assist. Prof. Onur Usta, participated in the Early Modern Ottoman Studies (EMOS) Conference organized by the Association of Historians, hosted by Middle East Technical University and Hacettepe University, presenting their papers from July 12 to July 15, 2023. During the conference, Fırat Yaşa (together with Zeynep Dörtok Abacı) presented a paper titled " Unveiling the Realm of Senses: Forms of Vision in Early Modern Ottoman Society" while Onur Usta presented a paper titled "The Peasant Economy of Anatolia in the Seventeenth Century: At the Margins of Subsistence and Market Conditions." We congratulate them on their contributions.
