A 3,900-year-old cylinder seal and a lead sling stone approximately 3,400 years old were found during an excavation in Çanakkale.

The team led by Prof. Dr. Göksel Sazcı, Head of the Archaeology Department at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and Director of the Maydos Kilisetepe Mound, made significant discoveries in the 14th year of excavations near the coast in the district center.
