Mission

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences strives to help its students become individuals revering the universal values and the national and spiritual values of our country, respectful to the community and academia, and fervently working to share the body of scientific information retrieved through national and international projects by following fundamental research ethics and etiquette and availing of natural, social, and applied sciences.

It also aims to carry out joint research with national and international education and research institutions, sectorial agents, and non-governmental organizations and to graduate professionally more competent and knowledgeable individuals.

The faculty graduates individuals who observe the basic principles of science, facilitate the dissemination and application of knowledge, are capable of thinking scientifically, are open to improvement, and can serve as assertive and productive team players.

Following the core vision of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and Turkish Higher Education, the Faculty aspires to be a respectable educational institution that incorporates highly qualified faculty members and students closely following scientific developments and capable of producing knowledge worthy of appearing in internationally prestigious scientific publications and acts as a regional pioneer that is internationally acknowledged.
